It is all about Beauty & Love... Life!

“2B&NOT2B” Too ambitious? “Please, Feel Free…” Too pretentious?... Two invitations?

Two stateme

nts? Assuming contradictions… Justifying demons… A “Cloven viscount”*, a young-old noble… divided, dissected, an unrealistic idealist, an awaken dreamer… A “Double-bass”**… a “Double-base”… With a mission… with a vision… Half completed… a whole half… Out-of-Tune… Arrogant outsider in a romantic pain…

Two invitations in, maybe or maybe not, an attempt to suck a poetic celebration out of a quotidian existence. The charm and the challenge of an arrhythmic fugue… The “seeking” as a scape… The cowardice disguised as bravery… An expensive treasure for sale… on sale… Sailing seas full of corners…

Deep superficial reflexions taking Calvino & Chekov as provocateurs of this touristic journey between Beauty and Love… Life. Why this will of singing out loud, and not allow ourselves the pleasure of just being quiet? Why the will of creating images, and not allow ourselves the pleasure of contemplation? Why the will of keep moving, and not allow ourselves the pleasure of just stop? Why the will of sharing and not allow ourselves the pleasure of just motionless being quiet, with wide open eyes?

Suddenly I smile gently to these two proposals from the artist in me, and to how rooted these questions are in the “being” in me. An honest and generous smile to my child from my adult and from my child to my adult.

Smiling I probably keep travelling enjoying Beauty and Love… Life. Thanks for the pain… Thanks for the pleasure!

* “The Cloven Viscount”, short novella by Italo Calvino. Story behind the Spri2Art Center and TransilvaniaTheatreLab Laboratory “To Be & Not to Be”.

** “Short Story of a Double-Bass”, tale by A. Chekov (Directed by Paco Alfonsín for the Hungarian State Theatre in Cluj-Napoca) Story that gives a path for “Please, Feel Free NOT to Find Your Place!”, next Spiri2Art Center and TransilvaniaTheatreLab Laboratory.
